came to me with an idea of a machine gun with a double tube-mag and wanted me and him to design one. Thus this is what we've been able to design after sharing several sketches with each other. The lineart of the firearm in the middle right is supposed to be a Submachine Variant. I might get around to completely that one too, but I might forget.....
's coloring of the left-side view of the KH-2126 LMG:
Vision: Seeing this gun from multiple angles, is something I don't see from you, very often if at all. Being able to see that multiple angles gives it a depth that can't quite be achieved with just one flat picture. It's something that I would hope to see more of. I see no flaws with the vision.
Originality: This gun, is just from the shape is really original. The double-helical/tubular magazines is very unique, something that wouldn't be seen from anyone else. The flash-hider is awesome and the grip/stock blend is also unique for a weapon like this. But, I have a qualm or two with the originality. The carrying handle very similar to one on the G36C, in the ACOG variant. The fact that you added rails and an ammunition counter on it though, makes it unique.
Technique: The technique of doing this-as is normal of your current style-very crisp and clean. The fact that you add scratches and a bit of wear-and-tear to the body of it makes it feel used, tried and true. The MG's overall structure feels very comfortable and easy to handle. Though, I believe that the ejection port for the rounds indicate that this gun uses pistol ammunition or a custom-design round. This would be rather small, and maybe ineffective for a LMG. However, the SMG variant would benefit well from this. Anoter thing is that the mechanism for working two tubular magazines at the same time but using only one ejection port, location on right side, would be rather complex.
Impact: The total appearance of this gun strikes me as very military-style, despite the unorthodox loading. The color scheme was well-planned and is semi-futuristic but not unbelievable.
In a whole, this gun is well drawn and took a lot of time to make, and as such is a great addiction to all groups that accept this weapon.
