Okay, I really like this gun from an artistic point of view: the texturing is really nice, just the right amount of weathering to look cool without going into lolfail levels. On to the more technical side, and this is just as good...

First thing is the fire selector, it's both good and bad, regretfully. You've put safety and repetition at opposite ends of the fire selector, something that is good for if the fire selector is easy to move between modes. (This being because, unlike in most games and films, semi-auto/repetition is used in almost every situation by the modern infantryman) On the other hand, the fire selector looks pretty hard to manipulate, quite small and fiddly (remember: your weapon may need to be used by someone 1/2 way up a mountain, wearing thick gloves and at night - make it easy for as many situations as possible), however this is a small point. The rails and iron sights are good (G36 RIS and G36 Irons), I like the brass deflector too (often forgotten by people) and the ambidextrous G36-style cocking handle is good, if slightly weighty. (since that section is very much based on the G36 I'm assuming the cocking handle works on the same principle. Therefore it's a massive lump of metal which is heading all the way back to the bolt, much further than the G36's would need to go). Finally, I'll quickly address the magazine. I know RoninPsycho's said it, but that's gotta be a 'x45' magazine, so you could probably claim that it's firing the 9x39mm subsonic round used by the Soviets/Russians in the AS and VSS rifles.

But, despite any niggles, it's a good gun!
