Looks good, your drawing is very nice and clean, but it still looks very realistic and grimy.

But, the layout doesn't feel that original, almost like a G36 rigged into a bullpup. Not that that's bad, mind you. G36 platform rifles are some of my favorite guns, and you did a very good job with this. It doesn't look like someone hacked together a G36 bullpup with photoshop, but it still seems G36-esq

but here are some things I think you could improve:

>Loose the muzzle brake. a 5.56 won't kick hard enough to need one.

>add 1913 (AKA picitany) rails for bolting on tacticool goodies.

>raise the charging handle a bit. Right now it looks like it will get in the way of the charging handle or gas system.

>Add some back-up iron sights ti the tip top of the carry handle.

>Finally, if this weapon ejects spent casings to the side, you should think about having an alternate ejecting port on the left side.

The Steyr AUG and FAMAS (and I think the TAR 21) all have one.

If the bolt is removed and certian parts moved around the rifle becomes a left-ejecting weapon. (thus, making it possible for left-handed shooters to use it without taking hot brass to the face.)

Of course, the above point it moot if the weapon ejects casings downwards (like a P90) or forwards (like an F2000)

Hope this helps.

Indeed, it's supposed to be a bullpup version of the G36.

Some damn nice lines, brother.

What programs do you use to build your weapons by the way? I have no idea.

I can't even begin to imagine how you do that.
Could you perhaps post a compilation of works in progress as they advance? I'd love to see something like that!

I wanna add a nitpicky observation, the charging handle, is it not a tad bit small? I realize it shoulnd't be all over the place, but too small and I'm imagining it almost cutting into your hand each time you pull it. It wouldn't need too much volume either, but increasing it from the diametre of a pencil (which is the impression I get now) to that of a grape? It's so much easyer to grab and pull something with a bit more volume (oh how wrong this came out... ), otherwise, excellent as always. A good eye for practicality.

Alrighty, thanks. Well, it's more or less supposed to be exactly like the SCAR-L's charging handle. But, its on one side and not both. Well, that's what I was going for, I might have made it to small.

Thanks. :D

Ah, I see it now. Then it is simply a matter of the gun being made to include left-handers or not, I guess :D

Heh, I am actually considering things like these now that I'm making some dinosaur drawings - where certain defining features may be hidden by flesh and skin. Normally an artist would force this feature to show, while I am reluctant to.
In the same way the gun would appear better to a quick glance - with a thicker charging-handle - but as you point out: It is simply not realistic that way - because the thicker part of the handle is on the other side of the gun - perfect for a right-hand majority user :D
I guess it's the back side of being adamently focused on realism and details :D
